Attorney Smith is a certified specialist in estate planning and trust law. He has published articles in the Orange County Lawyer and was an adjunct law professor at Long Beach State, where he taught estate planning for 10 years. Prior to starting his own practice, he worked as a district attorney and as a lawyer for a large law firm in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of California-Hastings College of the Law (the oldest law school west of the Mississippi).

Attorney Parriott holds a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she was on the law review, and her LLM in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. She was recognized as a "rising star" in Law & Politics Magazine and Los Angeles magazine.
